Our Services
Ship Fire Fighting
Practical shipboard firefighting training and live suppression capability, delivered by serving maritime firefighters.
Overview
Shipboard fire is unlike any structural fire. Steel conducts, compartments are confined, escape routes are few and the nearest fire service may be days away. Our instructors are experienced maritime firefighters who have led live fire suppression operations, and they train crews to fight fire the way it actually behaves at sea.
What the service covers
- Engine room, accommodation, galley and cargo space fire scenarios
- Breathing apparatus discipline, entry control and team search
- Fixed installations: CO2, foam, water mist and hyper-mist systems
- Hose management, branch technique and boundary cooling in steel compartments
- Fire team roles, muster discipline and command hand-over
- Live suppression support and burn-scenario exercise design
